Connect Bub to your tools
Choose an integration for the way you use Bub. Each guide names the components it needs and gives you a way to check the result.
Build your own agent
Section titled “Build your own agent”- Serve an agent with FastAPI: expose
core.Agentover HTTP and manage conversation storage in your service.
Customize the Bub app
Section titled “Customize the Bub app”These guides use the app’s CLI, configuration, or plugin system. Start with the app installation and use the same environment for Bub and its plugins.
- Connect MCP servers: call tools supplied by an MCP server.
- Load Agent Plugins: load a portable package of skills and MCP servers.
- Connect an ACP editor: use Bub from an editor such as Zed.
- Use a local llama.cpp model: point the app at a local model server.
- Store conversation history in SQLite: replace the app’s file store through a plugin.
- Inspect runs with tapes and traces: inspect local records or export traces to Phoenix and Logfire.
- Implement hooks in another language: try the experimental WebAssembly integration.
Each integration guide links to the plugin’s documentation for package-specific setup.
